Here are some of the most common psychological symptoms and fears/thoughts we can experience in anxiety:

- Thinking that you might die
- Thinking that you may have a heart attack/be sick/faint/have a brain tumour
- Feeling that people are looking at you and can see how anxious you are feeling
- Feeling detached and spaced out from your environment and the people around
- Feeling like wanting to run away to escape from the situation
- Feeling on edge, hypersensitive, irritable, and alert to everything around you
- Loss of concentration

One of the most common behavioural symptoms is avoidance, where we stop doing those things which could trigger our anxiety. Although avoiding an anxiety provoking situation produces immediate relief from the anxiety it doesn’t work in the long term as the mind creates more anxiety associated with the situation. The anxiety often returns the next time that you face the situation and often for many people after avoiding a situation the fear has increased. With continued avoidance some people start to find similar situations which previously weren't an issue are now becoming more anxiety provoking. This circle of anxiety can be broken using Clinical Hypnosis to retrain your mind to no longer respond in this same way. Hypnosis also teaches you how to relax and stay calm in all previously anxiety provoking situations.
Don't live with anxiety face it and change today.
